What to include

Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened instead, your iPhone model, iOS version, and Zup app version. Do not email private photos, captions, passwords, API keys, or social account tokens.

Caption help

Generate defaults to Google Gemini 3.7 Flash through TokenRouter and requires an internet connection. TokenRouter shows its current compatible vision-caption models in a dropdown, with GPT-5.4 Image 2 and other available models remaining optional. OpenRouter vision and Mistral are also available alternatives. OpenRouter offers Gemini 3.5 Flash, Gemini 3.7 Flash, and the Ox Alpha preview for testing; Ox Alpha’s anonymous provider retains prompts and completions but states that it does not use them for training. Selecting a provider or model does not upload anything. Zup asks for separate permission before sending selected photos to any provider. Apple’s on-device captioning remains part of the separately configured Daily suggestion flow on supported iPhones. You can review or turn off each hosted provider’s permission under Your Voice → Hosted intelligence.

Sharing help

X, Instagram professional accounts, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn, and TikTok use a connected account and show a final review in Zup before direct publishing. On Instagram, Feed publishes all selected photos with the reviewed caption. Instagram’s publishing API does not accept Story captions, so a captioned Story opens Instagram’s native editor with the photo ready and the reviewed caption copied for Paste; a photo-only Story can publish directly. During Facebook connection, you can choose all eligible Pages you manage or select specific Pages; every confirmed post goes only to that saved selection. Facebook cannot publish directly to personal profiles, so Zup clearly separates direct Page publishing from Open Facebook; the personal-profile choice opens Facebook’s native composer for the user’s confirmation. TikTok also offers Send as TikTok draft, which delivers the content to your TikTok inbox for you to finish, and Open TikTok instead as a Share Kit fallback. WhatsApp remains a native share handoff because its business API cannot publish personal Status updates or act as a user’s chat account. If a network asks you to connect again, reconnect under Your Voice → Connected posting so Zup can refresh the permissions required to publish. Apple’s share sheet remains available as the generic fallback for other compatible apps.

If a direct post fails, confirm that the account is connected, the caption and photo count fit the destination’s limits, and the network has not revoked Zup’s publishing access. Zup does not need your password; never send support a password or social token.
